I figured you wish you didn’t need to do this. I always used to wonder what Obama did all day since he didn’t tweet out 24/7. Although not perfect, he was just doing his job of trying to keep our country healthy, prosperous and safe. This guy just creates chaos every waking minute. Thanks for all you do in enlightening us and keeping things in perspective. Happy to support your work
Just read your Very Important Letter while spending a good portion of my Sunday sitting in a tire repair shop 300+ miles from home. I got screwed....at least my right front tire did, and gotta replace that sucker. Anyway, I laughed out loud, repeatedly, while reading your post and my wife and I definitely needed the spiritual lift that laughter brought.
Thank you sir. Just made it home to Bandera, TX this evening. We listened to the rest of Cassidy Hutchinson's book Enough in the truck on the way home. Did nobody fucking listen to what she had to say???? My gawd, I see stupid people. They're everywhere.
I eagerly look forward to Saturdays to read Jeff Tiedrich’s “This Week in Stupid” and Jay Kuo’s “Skeets and Giggles.” Now I can look forward to Sundays as well with your letters from Trump. Priceless!
Erm, right. I just don’t slot you into humor. I skimmed your first letter but decided to really read this one. The thing is, there’s no humor in this serious, stupid meeting that we don’t know if it’s really taking place or not! I appreciate joking around, I don’t get to do it often enough, joking around. But even today, Borowitz’s Sunday morning interview was on rumps deteriorating dementia. There wasn’t a single humorous thing about it. I’m a new follower of yours, so I’ve missed your past letters. Honestly, I think it’s me who’s not very funny just now. Sorry for appearing to be such a downer, and thanks for your effort at lightness. You’re a 🌠. I remain you loyal follower (&friend)😐🫥💭
If I didn't know better, I'd swear you're a writer with National Lampoon. The last thing I read from there that made me laugh this much, was in 1970, when they did a satire of Spiro Agnew's wife, while she was on acid.
"Not even George Jefferson had ratings at high...." I'm still laughing!! Thanks for the Sunday Funny! #MovingOnUp 🤣
Anything I can do to help, Meg ...
Please keep sending these Very Important Letters. Everyone needs a way to have some relief during these dark days.😂😂😂
Careful what you ask for, Kathryn.
This is much needed after another chaotic week. Laughing is the best. Thanks Earl ! ! !
Semi-happy to do it, Fred!

I really appreciate that, Fred. Thank you.
This was truly hilarious and so on point. Thanks for the laugh
You-betcha.

Made my day with that one, man. Wishing your car a speedy recovery and safe travels ahead.

You did it again! I can’t stop laughing. And I love the multiple Carolinas and Dakotas. Thanks Earl.
Thanks for putting yourself through that, Sharon.
“My left hand will be pretty busy later.” I’m still laughing.

OMG this was hilarious!
But you have ruined the Washington Monument for me. Thanks a lot.
I apologize for that.
Words fail me, but Borowitz and Berry are going to pick a bone with you treading on their *funny* ground. 😐
Funny people both, but I was out with these letters eight years ago ... There's room for everybody, Claudia. Er, right?

Well, for better or worse, the letters are back, because we could all use a laugh. Thanks for your feedback and support, my friend.
A+ Earl...
First one I ever got, Sharon!
You know you're good when an article really sounds like he could have actually written it.
It's both a blessing and a curse, Diane.
😂😂👏👏👏👏 Good stuff!
Thanks!
Didn't Trumpy go to McDonalds this week? Wearing a George Costanza mask? I'm pretty sure he did.

Good ol' National Lampoon!
Hilarious!
