Jean Carroll possesses, and Willis's naive errors of judgement aside, this shows the stark reality of the difference before the law in America between a rich white person in New York and an average black public servant in Georgia. Would still do so before bringing misogyny into the equation.
Carroll has been surrounded and upheld by a plethora of supporters while Willis is being crushed from all sides by the federal and state GOP machinery. One is aided by personal networks, the other is being destroyed by political networks.
