On Tuesday night, the woman in black took the stage, purposely strutted over to her opponent’s corner, extended her right hand, introduced herself as “Kamala Harris” and then spent the next 90 minutes making good and damn sure he never forgot her.
Vice President Harris’s systematic dismantling of the woefully overmatched, punch-drunk Donald Trump before the entire world, was one of the most eye-opening and important moments in American history, because had this presidential debate gone any other way, we sadly know by now how it would have been presented to the public.
Had Harris not delivered this absolute masterpiece — I believe the greatest debate performance in history — it is horrifying to imagine what kind of script our lost and loaded mainstream media would furiously be spinning at this moment. Their inability to properly chronicle and sound the alarms of the very real threat to our country if God forbid, the America-attacking Trump were to get a second chance to finish us off, have been a study in negligence, and an affront to journalism.
You’ll notice even today after Trump’s incoherent, abominable performance in which among other insane things he babbled uncontrollably of eating dogs, there is not even ONE major news operation calling on this sick, diminishing old man to leave the race. Just remember what our so-called leaders in the press were saying about the good and decent, Joe Biden, only 10 weeks ago …
In the wake of Tuesday night’s debate, there is but one headline that should be in 100-pt. type in our nation’s newspapers of record right now:
TRUMP AGAIN PROVES HIMSELF COMPLETELY UNFIT FOR LEADERSHIP
Of course our Justice Department has been no better, and long ago catastrophically abdicated its responsibility to protect us from the people who have proven they mean us harm. Their slow walk to charge Trump in the worst attack on the Capitol since 1812, was a crime in itself. I deeply hope we see the day when these incompetent boobs are sent packing, and justice is no longer denied the American people, or the cops who were beaten to a pulp by Trump’s thugs on January 6, 2021, while defending us and our vote.
The majority of this country’s citizens have been abandoned by the very people whose job it is to protect us, and it has been on one hand positively galling, and on the other absolutely terrifying.
Nothing the orange, two-bit lout said last night surprised the tens of a millions of us, who have lost friends, family and sleep during this terrible decade of darkness and hate. It has been a shock to our senses and everything we thought we knew about far too many of these people, who have fallen at the scabbed knees of a raving lunatic who means us harm.
We have watched with righteous anger and a sense of helplessness as he has wildly insulted everybody and everything in his orbit — except, of course, the racists, and murderous dictators who stand him up, and fluff him out. He simply can’t get enough of them — and them him. He is their stooge. Their willing fool.
When we beat him fair and square at the ballot box four November’s ago, it should have mercifully been over. The world’s greatest democracy had once again set the example. It was past time for a new, brighter way forward.
THIS was the American way.
Instead, the spoiled brat raged and threatened … he hurled lies and more lies, before the tragic attack on our country that continues to this day.
Had Harris not stood up and delivered her heroic defense of America, and thorough prosecution of Trump Tuesday night, evil would still be having its way. With but 54 days left to an election that will decide America’s fate, our prospects would have been bleak … The odds disgracefully stacked against us.
That’s not to say the threat to our country is over — far from it — but it is to say, it has to be crystal clear to anybody with eyes and ears, that we have a once-in-a-lifetime leader fighting for us, who is fully prepared to defend all that is good and right at this crucial juncture of the American Experiment.
It is impossible to overstate just how badly Harris pummeled the wobbling, erratic Trump in Philadelphia. She not only rose to the occasion, she soared. There was never a single moment when she wasn't in complete command of the stage. She outmaneuvered him, never let him breathe, and did it with incredible ease and complete confidence.
“I know Donald Trump’s type …”
When he tried to slither away, and change the talking points, she casually tossed some bait in the water, patiently waited for him to hit it, and then set the hook before effortlessly reeled him back into the boat, where he flopped around like a helpless, 300-lb. sucker fish.
He panicked, and gasped for air. He literally turned colors, while she drank it all in and quenched the thirsts of the millions of us who had waited endlessly for just this moment.
She beat him with the facts, and she beat him to the punch. She watched, her eyes sparkling, as the tired, angry old racist trotted out his predictable rancid tropes, and exposed himself for what he is, while also managing to bury himself even further into his dark, empty corner.
No matter who was doing the talking in this one-sided debate, Trump was steadily choking on the words.
She scolded him, corrected him, and never let him slide. She was tougher, smarter, and fully equipped for the moment.
SHE HANDLED HIM.
After 10, grueling years, we finally got our moment, patriots. We finally got the chance to watch America’s very best, publicly destroy and expose America’s very worst on its biggest stage.
It was truly a sight for sore eyes.
Kamala Harris rose up and did her part on Tuesday night. Now it’s time we did ours in November.

Delicious. We all witnessed history last night. The fight isn’t over, to be sure, but every time she rises to seemingly insurmountable tasks, I become more convinced that she will be an incredible president and world leader!
Your description, Earl, is 🔥. You masterfully captured the spirit of the event- and of the hope we have in the right candidate at just the right time.
