37 point swing on top of a 32 point swing, and just days apart. We have exactly 9 months to go. We must spin the wheel faster and harder to keep the inertia going the right way. Do not let the guard down. Counterpunch hard. Gather more voters.

These victories are remarkable.

In both cases, the Democrat was wildly outspent by the Republican.

Your article is so inspiring. Thank you and keep those inspirations coming.

The vile felon has the stupidity (no surprise here) to call an Olympic skier a loser for voicing dismay about what's going on in our country. These superb athletes know the value of hard work required to succeed, unlike the criminal grifter who lies, steals, and then denigrates those who disagree with him whenever possible. Totally the BIGGEST LOSER.

He really is. A complete embarrassment to America.

He's an embarrassment to humanity. Rob Reiner said Donald if Orange is a failure as a human being. Truer words were never spoken. I wish he'd finished his documentary series on the vile creature.

Exactly what I thought when I read his vile comment. He is the LOSER and the majority of Americans know it. He will be burnt toast on election night. Maybe then he will realize that he is the loser. I really don’t think he ever will think of himself as loser though.

He already knows he's a loser by having to cheat to win in 2024, moreover against a black woman. And he lost the popular vote to a white woman in 2016 and an older white man in 2020 by electoral college and popular vote. He's just the world's biggest loser and cheater. He knows. Deep down in his little black heart, he knows. I firmly believe that.

Love this HOPE, Earl! What a ray of sunshine in what has been a large sewer hole. It gives me great hope, thanks! See you at No Kings 3!

That is why he wants to stop the election. Retaining freedom from tyranny will depend upon our ability to hold a fair and honest election.

As usual, I share your optimism. I also agree with Adam Schiff who spoke today regarding the upcoming election. We must overwhelm the polls in November with a massive turnout for the Democrats. Especially for the candidates who, like my mayor Mamdani, speak the truth with kindness and empathy.

Thank you for sharing that encouraging bit of news. Been a very long time since a "Republican" displayed decency in an election. I miss the days when, although I did not agree with their politics, I knew there were decent people in the Republican party. The good old days when our lawmakers could fight like hell about the issues, then shake hands and have a friendly conversation. Back when they really did listen to each other with an earnest effort to work across the aisle - work together for the common good. I miss that ...

I have been sickened over the latest racist attack on our beloved former President and First Lady. You covered it well. I will stay in a positive tone and just say what I have been sharing for days. They are a beautiful family of LOVE not greed. They are a highly intelligent, dignified, classy, decent, graceful, honest and beautiful couple. My favorite President and First Lady - simply love them and appreciate them.

I remember when Tip O'Neill and Reagan would hang out together.

Yes, when there was civility between parties.

Thank you for sharing this. It does bring me hope when so much these days feel discouraging.

What you’ve provided was not a platitude, but evidence of a tilt that we badly need. I’m new to your column and look forward to more insights. Thank you.

It shows something that you have not seen it in a Republican in a long time, grace & dignity

How very refreshing to find a Republican who's not a sore losing baby. I do have to say though, that I'm glad the Democrat won because it seems that no matter how well meaning a Republican rep. may be, they are ultimately steamed rolled by this heavy handed and evil regime into being part of their destructive cause.

Encouraging news, thanks Earl. I'm hoping it sets an example going forward. It's a good thing to see civility in this recent election. I am a bit stunned too. I'm sure the orange skunk ape troll will say something disparaging about the winner and/or the fellow republikkkan challenger in that race. He can never just leave it alone.

Have a good evening Earl, peace and love 🙏💙🕊️

What good news! Thank you for sharing! Meanwhile, I’m trying to frame a graceful reply to a local poster who insists that Trump won by 80%, even after I responded to her earlier 80% post with the actual facts.

Wow Earl this is great news, May the blue wave keep crashing down on the Orange Menace. He will probably be looking to tear something else down as things heat up. It would be great to get him out before he trashes too many other things and tries to rename everything he can dream up in the brain full of rabid squirrels. We will overcome this and then start to rebuild

This is good news! Still, we must double down on efforts to keep the midterm elections free, fair and clean. We also need to double down on efforts to arrest comrade Krasnov NOW. The blue tsunami must be among the final nails in the coffin of this horrid regime, not the the first.
