Well Earl, you were right 16 months ago and you’re right today. If I venture to guess why Trump suddenly started this war against Iran, I agree it has to do with his failing poll numbers and the November elections coming up, like you said. But I think the main reason is because of what is slowly being revealed in the Epstein files. ( even though DOJ and the FBI are both trying mightily to hold up and cover up anything involving Trump, still some horrible things have come out).
But now the legacy media is distracted by this war Trump has launched-how could they not be with the fate of the world in his tiny hands.
All anyone needs to know is that at one point said the Iran War is basically over... then less than 24 hours later he is telling us that today we will bomb the shit out of them What and IDIOT this man is.
I guess this is a good news bad news situation Bad News TRUMP is president... Good New TRUMP is president and even folks who voted for him 3 times are beginning to see that he is an ASSHOLE.
For him to think there is any chance for him to serve a third term should show everyone he is out of touch with reality. What worries me most now is that every time he does something or says some thing that I feel crosses the line, he moves on and mostly gets what he wants, Every time I think there is a firewall to stop him he blast through. Yes it seems that there is more resistance to his moves but it hasn't stopped him yet. Wasn't it Gen Milley, then chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff took steps to make sure 9000 nuclear launch procedures were followed, fearing Trump might act erratically. Do we have the same confidence in this military leadership? I hope so.. He is a desperate man and if everyone starts to turn on him I don't trust him.
I don't trust him regardless of what happens. You are right, every time I think what he is doing is so horrendous that it will be the end of the line for him, it never is and he keeps moving forward.
The administration is a criminal enterprise aided by political, corporate and media sycophants. It is an authoritarian regime hiding in plain gaslight.
Are the active duty members of the United States Armed Forces and their families all zombies? Are they? Not one of them has been endowed with a shred of free will? Not one? I have never, ever escaped consequences for my lack of good judgement. They won’t, either.
